My name is Gabby. I am 8 years old and I live in Cincinnati, Ohio. I love reading, math and I like to play sports. My favorite sports to play are soccer and swimming.
I learned about being an entrepreneur at summer camp. I made the decision to be an entrepreneur because I want to take risks in life. Taking risks is important to me because I think it is a big part of being successful. I am starting this business because I think it will be a fun way to earn money for college and learn about business from my dad.
When I thought about what products I wanted to make, I knew it would be important to create something that would make other people happy. I am making t-shirts because I think it is the best way for me to tell the world about what drives me every day.
My business is called Lady Hustle. Hustle means working your butt off. I often hear boys talk about how they’re better or stronger than girls. But this isn’t true. We are equal. To be successful you need to work hard, and you also need to play fair. Playing fair matters because you don’t have to cheat to win. All it takes is hard work. Even if you’re losing in a game, you cannot stop. You need to get back out there and give it your best.
Thank you for your business.
Lady Hustle is the vision of 8-year-old entrepreneur Gabby from Cincinnati. My mission is to inspire young girls to work their butt off. Do you know how to hustle?
